Name: Alicia Anne Longbottom
Year: 3rd
House: Hufflepuff
Heritage: Pureblood
Family: Neville Longbottom (father), Luna Longbottom, Nee Lovegood (mother), Anoreen Alice Longbottom (older sister)
Appearance: While both her parents are blond, Alicia inherited the mousy brown hair of her grandparents, and somehow managed to scrounge up grey eyes from some distant corner of the family tree. Built more like her mother than her father, the 13-year-old is thin, relatively shapely, but not conscious of her relatively good looks, especially when there are girls like Lily Potter around. She dresses in baggier clothing (despite her mother's attempts at bringing in her school robes and so forth), and doesn't tend to do anything with makeup, or her long chestnut hair.
History: The younger daughter of Neville and Luna Longbottom (The Herbology professor, and famous magizoologist), Alicia was named after her grandmother (Alice Longbottom). Her life has been relatively idyllic, and she seems to have followed in her father's footsteps as an adept herbologist. While at school, she has friends, but not necessarily close friends... most of them just ask her to help them with homework, and she is enough of a pushover to occasionally write entire papers for other students.
Unlike her sister, she spent less time with the Weasley and Potter families, spending most of her time in her room, working with her mother, or generally being too shy to approach anyone.
Personality: Sweet and unassuming, Alicia spends most of her time reading, studying, or occasionally daydreaming. She is quite good, if reclusive, and needs encouragement to come out of her shell. The one thing about her that she seems to have come up with on her own and not inherited from her family is an excellent flying ability, with a keen eye and strong arm, making her quite an excellent beater. The fact seems to surprise people, as she is so often absorbed in books and solitude that she seems unlikely to be any sort of sportswoman, let alone a beater.
She really, really admires Rose Weasley and Lily Potter, but is too shy to approach them, even if her parents did go to school with theirs.
