Hearing a small voice cry out in protest, Emmily turned her head to see who'd gotten hurt now. She saw Cori and smirked to herself. You'd think after a month now that students would know to stay out of her way. She smiled as she walked over to her and sat opposite tucking her legs under her. "Hey. If you hate Hogsmede Cori why'd you come?" she asked. It was actually the first time that she'd seen Cori in Hogsmede for a long time. Cori shrugged, lounging in her chair casually. "I thought I'd give it a chance. But, it's as boring as I remember. Only good thing about this place is this place, and I can't even get a proper drink." She groaned, and sipped her Butterbeer, looking around the pub, absentmindedly playing with her hair. Ivan walked into the Three Broomsticks to wait for Antony who was out doing who knows what. Walking up to the bar he thought about trying to pull off that he was older and order a Firewhiskey but decided he didn't want to argue with the lady. "I'll...I'll just have a butterbeer." As he took out his money he glanced at the occupants and saw what looked to be Cori sitting with Emmily. Smiling to himself he set the coins on the counter and grabbed the drink with an offhanded, "Thanks." He found a table across from them and sat down so he was able to see Cori. He set his drink on the table and looked up with a smirk trying to catch Cori's eye. Cori's gaze fell on Ivan, who was looking at her sort of wierd. She poked her tongue out at him. "Ivan! Come join us," she called to him. "And - uh - bring your friend," she chuckled. Then she turned to Emmily. "Sorry, you don't mind do you?" she asked.

Sometimes she just liked walking alone to think. "You're able to buy them whenever you want when you're not in school though aren't you? At least you can do that." She felt a bit sorry for Cori, especially since she seemed to be having a bad time so far. She looked up as she heard Cori speaking and saw Ivan with a Ravenclaw friend. "No I dont mind," she laughed. "I have a feeling you're now about to have a good time in Hogsmede though."

Antony entered the pub with a frown, d**n first years always in the way. After running back to the school to get his money he had nearly decked a group of first years who were standing in the middle of the path. He walked up to the bar and tossed some coins on the counter, "A butterbeer." As the lady handed it to him with a curious look which he managed to ignore he looked around and found Ivan sitting at a table looking extremely odd. Walking over to him he sat down across from him and sighed, "What in the hell are you doing?" Ivan looked away from Cori as Antony sat down, "I am attempting to get Cori's attention which is more than you can do." He took in Antony's appearance, "What the hell happened to you?" He looked toward Cori as she called his name and smiled. Standing up he grabbed his drink and leaned toward Antony, "That's our cue. Come on let's go have some fun." He walked over toward the girls table and sat down next to Cori smiling charmingly, "Ladies...." Looking over his shoulder he saw Antony walking over and smiled, "This is Antony. Antony this is Cori and Emmily." He glanced at Cori and raised his eyebrow ever so slightly as he smirked, "Everyone having a good time so far? With the exception of Mr. Grumpy over there," he added with a jerk of his head toward Antony.

Antony looked up and saw Cori and raised his eyebrows in understanding. He looked back at Ivan and frowned, "A bunch of first years...." He watched as Ivan stood up and stopped himself from laughing, "Alright." He stood up and followed Ivan to the table sitting down in the only seat available next to Emmily. As Ivan introduced him he nodded quietly and took a sip of his drink letting the conversation play out around him as he wasn't one to talk much in large unfamiliar groups.

Then nothing'll stop me," Cori chuckled. She managed to get alcohol anyway. Her looks were a good asset in that department. "Good," she smiled as Emmily said she didn't mind. "Hey," she said, as Ivan introduced her. Seeing Ivan's eyebrow raise slightly, she raised hers in return. What?! She shook her head as Ivan asked if they were having a good time. "I'm bored," she said, half whining, sending a look to Ivan.

It was sort of obvious what was going on between the two of them. She smiled as Antony sat down in the chair next to her. "Nice to meet you Antony." She was sure she'd seen Antony around school, but didn't know him personally. Just think if things had been different you would know him Hearing Ivan's question, she shrugged her shoulders and hid a grin. "I guess, although this is my first stop of the day. I was in need of a Butterbeer." Turning to Antony she asked, "So why is Ivan calling you Mr. Grumpy?"

He picked up his drink and took a sip as he brought his hand up from his side and set it lightly around Cori's back. Hearing Emmily's question he nodded, "Yes, do tell us what the poor first years did to raise that famous Wainwright temper of yours."

Antony shifted in his seat slightly and glared at Ivan. He knew how much he didn't like being pulled into a conversation. Looking at Emmily he cleared his thoat, "Nice to meet you too." He took another sip of his drink and looked at Ivan pointedly, "Well...it started out with I had to go back up to the school to get my money because I had left it in my trunk. On my way down a bunch of first years were loitering in the corridor and would not move. I nearly had to deck them all just to get through, though I didn't I just pushed some out of my way so I could get by." He turned slightly red as he admitted to losing his temper. Ivan was right about that it took a lot for him to lose his temper and today was just a bad day so far.

"Would those be the same first years that already got in my way?" she chuckled. "A bored Slytherin means more than just scared first years, babe," she laughed, shaking her head. "How dare you lower me to just first years." She gave Ivan a scandalised look. She felt his arm go around her back, and she leant against it, listening to everyone else. Always in the way," she said, shrugging her shoulders. She took a sip of her Butterbeer, trying to convey how bored she was, and how much it would benefit everyone if someone found something for her to do.

It wasn't as if she'd bite him, well hard anyways. "I've done that before, it's annoying." Hearing that it was a bunch of first years that had got in his way she sighed and rolled her eyes. "I swear this years group are worse than even my year was." Her year group had been terrors what with a Potter being sorted into Slytherin. "And why aren't you in Slytherin?" she asked raising an eyebrow as she heard that he'd almost punched some of them. "Trust me having a temper isn't bad as long as you know not to let it get too out of control." Cori grinned. "Would those be the same first years that already got in my way?" she chuckled. A bored Slytherin's bad news for anyone in the school including the teachers. Which is why it's never good for us to get bored." She sipped her Butterbeer thoughtfully. Thankfully she wasn't that bored yet, although if it was still cold and there was nothing in Hogsmede that she wanted it could happen. "A few? They all sort of ran off when they realised that you were here."

She sat back again against Ivan's arm, sipping her Butterbeer, looking casually around the pub. Her eyes locked on the bartender, and she smiled, causing him to blush and turn away. If someone didn't find her something to do very soon, she was going to grab him and drag him upstairs.

Well except me." He smirked and brushed his hand lightly across her back as he watched Antony and Emmily with interest. Cori laughed. He glanced at Cori in time to see the look she shot the bartender and just shook his head. Antony hated his relationship with Cori but it suited Ivan just fine. Nothing permanent and no commitments. They were together when they wanted to be and desired and apart when they didn't. He trailed his hand down her back and onto her thigh underneath the table as he spoke, "Let's find something to do before I go insane." He knew that Miles was at the Shrieking Shack and as much as he hated the little git sometimes he wanted to see if Miles had enough courage in him to grow up so that left that out.

When he heard Emmily speak he turned toward her and said, "Yea, it is annoying." He shook his head as she compared this years group to her year. Indeed they had been getting steadily worse and it annoyed him greatly. He shrugged and gestured to Ivan, "I'm not in Slytherin because I'm smarter than this idiot." Taking a sip of his drink he smirked at Ivan and rolled his eyes as he saw the interplay between them. He honestly didn't see why Ivan couldn't just stick with one girl or why he'd bother with a girl he knew wouldn't stick with him. It seemed like too much hassle for him. He looked at Emmily and nodded, "I'm fairly even tempered...it's just been a bad day."

Ivan shook his head at Antony, "You're not smarter than me. You just don't know how to accurately apply yourself so that you do not stick out. Trust me I could get grades like my idiot cousin but why would I really want to? I much prefer having fun than hanging out in a library all day, thank you. Your problem is, is that you aren't good looking enough to be in Slytherin." He smirked and took a sip of his drink as he stared at Antony when he saw him role his eyes. Oh, he needs to get a grip or a girl...it's annoying really.

Want to stay on two feet, get out of my way," she said, shrugging her shoulders. "I'm not that scary. The stupid kids bring it upon them selves." She chuckled as Ivan said he didn't scare him. "Mmm. A challenge," she said, grinning. She felt his hand brush over her back, and her grin turned to a smirk. Ivan laughed and shook his head at the conversation, "No, I would say that if anyone was smart they'd stay out of your way, hun." "Exactly," Cori agreed. "Everyone needs to grow a brain." She looked away from the bartender, to see Ivan shaking his head. She raised her eyebrow in a look that said, What? She felt his hand trail across her back, then down to her thigh. She smiled. Sliding her other hand under the table, one went to his thigh, raking her nails over it, the other rested on his hand, on her thigh, shifting it a little higher.
