OOC: We won't be role-playing the game. The outcome has been predetermined, and this is just like a little review of the game. All on pitch celebrations, etc, can be posted in this thread. Jade (Co-Admin)
Hogwarts Quidditch Grand Final Ravenclaw - 300 versus Slytherin - 100
The game was one sided from the start. Slytherin never had a chance. Ravenclaw's Keeper, Amelia Johnson, hardly let the ball through, and Ravenclaw's Chasers, Blackheart, Rochford and Miles were a formidable team, their passes flawless and their goal scoring abilities miraculous. It was just goal after goal for the bronze and blues. Even the Slytherin Seeker, Albus Potter, son of the famous Harry Potter, didn't stand a chance. The Snitch was caught by Ravenclaw Seeker, Kyam Trep, in the 45th minute, ending the game and extending his team's win.
Well done Ravenclaw!

Jezabel jumped up and done triumphantly with the rest of her team, watching Hugo Weasley holding up the Quidditch Cup above everyone for the entire school to see. They'd won! And by a HUGE margin. "Jez!" she heard a voice call out. Jezabel turned, a smile planted firmly on her face, running over to the woman who had spoken, woman that no one would ever think would be old enough to be Jezabel's mother. "Mum! Did you see it? We won! Did you see that goal I got where I had to swerve real bad?! Did you?" Belle laughed. "Yes, of course I did. What do you think I was doing? Watching the floor?" She smiled and hugged her daughter. Jezabel hugged back, kissed her mother's cheek, then ran off again to continue celebrating with her friends.

Belle smiled, watching her daughter celebrating Ravenclaw's win with the rest of the team. Kids she thought to herself. She gave Jezabel a little wave when the girl turned in her direction again, then atempted to make her way back through the crowd to get out.

Zach tried to push through the crowds, laughing at the way the Ravenclaw kids were celebrating. It really took him back, being here at the school, watching Quidditch. He and his brother had both played for the Ravenclaw team. He had no idea where Nathalie was now, probably celebrating with the rest of the Ravenclaw teachers.
Someone bumped into him from behind, and he stumbled slightly, colliding with a woman in the crowd. He started to apologise, then his words tailed off in shock as he looked at her properly.
"Belle...?"

Belle was trying to get back through the crowd. She really should get back to the shop. Almost through, someone fell into her. She stumbled too, saving herself from falling completely. She had begun to apologise at the same time the man had, but pulled up short when he said her name. Raising her head properly, she looked at him closely. "Yeah, that's me..." she trailed off, her eyes widening. "Zach? How-How are you?"

"I - I'm fine," Zach said lamely. This was the last thing he'd expected. "How are you? Do you still own that robe shop? I don't get to Diagon Alley much these days - I work abroad a lot"

Belle smiled nervously. "I'm good, yeah." She nodded. "Sure do. Nearly 16 years now. Wow, I sound old," she chuckled, shrugging her shoulders. "What do you do?" she asked. Then, she heard Jezabel calling out to her. "Mum!" "Excuse me," she said, turning to the girl that had appeared at her side. Great. Well, here goes. There were some distinct features Jez possessed that were definately Zach's. sigh "What hon?" she asked "Ummm. Professor Desjardins said that she's giving us the afternoon off, so I can go to Hogsmeade with you if you still wanted to," Jezabel said, a big grin on her face that definately wasn't Belle's. Belle nodded. "Yeah, of course. When did you want to go?" "In about an hour? Maybe?" "Yeah, okay. What're you doing now?" she asked. "Trying to organise a party in the Common Room tonight," Jezabel laughed. "Alright then. I'll see you later on. Meet you at the gate in an hour?" Belle replied, hugging Jezabel to her side and kissing the top of her head (standing on her toes a little bit). "Yeaps, sure. See you, Mum," the girl said, racing off again. Belle smiled, turning back to Zach. "Sorry, my daughter."

"I'm an Auror..." Zach began, when a dark haired teenage girl ran over, calling to her... mum? Was she talking to Belle?
As the girl talked to Belle, Zach looked at her. Though she had some resemblance to Belle, there was no mistaking the features that were very familiar, though strange to see in a young girl's face. He was more used to seeing them in the mirror.
Stunned, he listened silently as mother and daughter talked, then watched as the youngster ran off again. When Belle said the girl was her daughter, Zach met her gaze. He knew the answer already, but still he said,
"And - mine too?"

Belle sighed when she saw the recognition in Zach's face, and then he spoke. "Uhh," she murmured. "Yeah. Her name's Samantha. Jezabel. She prefers to be called by her middle name. She's 15. Ravenclaw Chaser. She's very much you." She took a few deep breaths. "I'm sorry. I wanted you to be a normal teenager, you know. Our ages were what made us part in the first place. I didn't want you to feel like you had any obligation, I didn't want you to be put into a sticky spot. I-I-m sorry, Zach."

"Oh, Belle... you should have told me," he said softly. His tone was sympathetic, not angry. "You've had to raise her all alone." He looked across the crowd, picking out his daughter - Merlin, that made him feel strange! "Does she know - I mean, what have you told her. About me?"

Belle shrugged her shoulders, indicating that raising Jezabel by herself wasn't any trouble. "She's not a problem. And I have more than enough money to support her, so I didn't really see any dire need to involve you, especially when you made a point of wanting to be a schoolkid." She sighed, shaking her head at his question. "No. I gave her one of your middle names, but that's all she knows. But, I know she's not fully satisfied with my not telling her anything."

Zach was silent for a moment, his eyes following the girl as she moved among her friends in the milling crowds of students. He'd only been a couple of years older than her when he and Belle were together. "Belle - I understand if you need some time to tell her about me. But, well - I have a right as her father to - to get to know her."

Belle sighed, nodding her head. "You can see my reasoning though, can't you?" she asked him, chewing on her lip slightly. "If-if you're not doing anthing, you're welcome to join us for coffee. May as well tell her with you there," she offered.

Unwillingly, Zach nodded. "Yes. I was only seventeen. An irresponsible kid. But maybe, if I'd known you were..." He shook his head. What if's were useless. Then he nodded at her suggestion. "Yes - I'd like to join you." He paused. Then suddenly he said, "Belle - it's your decision. If you'd rather not tell her, well, I'll respect your wishes."

Belle sighed, giving him one of those 'You wouldn't have...' looks. She nodded as well as he accepted her invitation. "No, I think it would make her day. It's been long enough now." She looked around. "Well, I'm guessing you'rea ctually here for a reason other than to meet the daughter you didn't know," she asked.
