As you make your way up the street of Diagon Alley you take a moment to look in the windows of the various shops mid way down the street your eyes fall on a window display with a single wand. When you walk in you find yourself facing a large counter the area of the store you have access to is filled with displays of various wand cleaning supplies, from complete cleaning kits to refill polishes and extra polish clothes. Behind the counter there is what seems like endless rows of shelves filled with long slender boxes. If you are old enough to remember Mr. Ollivander you can’t help but give a small sentimental smile the store has remained just as he had kept it in fact the only difference is that now instead of being greeted by the intimidatingly wise Mr. Ollivander. You are greeted by a young wizard with unusually colorful hair. But don’t be fooled by his appearance Teddy Lupin might seem young but he just like Ollivander seems to have the gift when it comes to pairing a wizard with the perfect wand.

Walking down Diagon Alley from the Daily Prophet offices, Vasilissa looked in each of the shop windows, trying to decide what she was going to spend her first paycheck on. She'd been here a month, and only now do they tell her she's supposed to have a wand. They weren't supposed to hire her without one, it was a stupid security issue. Lissa, like her twin brother Lukasz, has never needed a wand, prefering to channel the Magick through her body and out her fingers. She felt more in touch with it that way, instead of letting a magic stick do all the work. But, she could get fired if she refused.
Finally stopping in front of the small wand shop, which she has been told makes the best wands in the world, apparently, She sighed. She pushed open the door to the quiet shop, whincing slightly at the sharp sound of the bell over the door, and the loud clack of her heels on the wood floorboards. Feeling a little stupid standing in the middle of the 'foyer' of the store, she stepped up to the counter. "Hello?!" she called out, trying to get the attention of whomever was running the store today.

Teddy walked out of the back carrying a few boxes of wand polish in and levitating a large box with polishing clothes with his wand in front of him. once school had started his business had slowed down a good bit and the sudden sound of a voice caught him off gaurd causing him to stumbled into the corner the shelving and nearly bt not quite drop the boxes he was carrying. He tookth remaining few steps upto the counter and set the boxes down beside him with a small thud. He looked up at the young woman across from him.
" You don't seem to exacted about your first wand." He commented after just a few short weeks of running the wand shop Teddy had noticed that he seemed to know some things much like Ollivander himself had.

Vasilissa smiled as a young man with teal hair. Interesting choice, she thought to herself. "Excited about my first wand? How... Never mind... I only need it for security for my job..." She smiled. "So yeah... I've never had a wand I don't know how this all works."

' not a problem," Teddy reassured her then he tilted his head as though he were studying her for only a split second before he had moved from the counter towards te shelves lined with wands. " Having a wand doesn't actually limit your magic you know." he touched one of the slender boxes. " No not quite." He mumbled as he moved his hand away from the box and reaching up to one of the higher shelves and pulling a box from it. " All you have to do is give te wand a wave see what happens."

"Yes, I just never needed one... I always learnt not to use one. Have you ever tried it?" Vasilissa said as he walked off to the shelves. Finaly he came to her with a box. She took the wand with a raised eyebrow. "Give it a wave?" she questioned curiously. Then she waved the wand, feeling a little stupid. Shaking her head, she dropped the wand lightly on the counter. "It doesn't feel right," she commented. She wasn't sure any of them would feel right.

"Hmmm,Perhaps we should try something different," Teddy said as he put the wand back in to it's box and replaced it on the shelf. he walked further down the row of wand shelves. e picked up a couple possible wands and carried them back. " the trick to getting the right wand is to just relax, and let the wand pick you. he lifted another wand from its box and handed it to her. " Go ahead give it a try."

" Not quite that one either I see, " Teddy offered her another one to try he was beginning to think he had lot his touch at matching wands to wizards. " Don't think about itlike that just give it a swish." He smiled as opened the last box he had carryed to the counter and pulled out the slender Tali Wood wand and offered it to her.

Vasilissa nodded her head. Then she took the wand he handed out to her. A warm glow settled over her and when she moved it a golden glow sort of moved with the stick of wood. She smiled. "I think this one is it..."

Teddy smiled confidently when the wand emitted a soft golden glow. " I think you might be right... would you like the box as well?"" Teddy said. " it's not often a wzard from this area waits so long for their wand, are you new here?" He found himself curiously aasking.

The smile on Lissa's face stayed put and she nodded when asked if she wanted the box. "Yes please. Yeah, I'm from Australia... we're not forced to get a wand, there are special classes for people that don't use one. I prettty much just got here, and I was told I needed a wand or they'll have to 'let me go'."

teddy Nodded " I see, ministry job?" He asked it was the one that seemed most obvious to require the ownership of a wand. He packed the box along with the usual starter wand cleaning kit that came standard with a new wand purchase together for her.
