"Well, seven years can be a lot Ceallach." she said, smiling. "You're 31 are you not?" She saw Ms. o Raghallaigh organize the pile. Amelia suspected it was not entirely out of the way, but she didn't say anything, she had done the same thing when she had first started teaching. "Seven -? Oh," Ceallach said stupidly. "I'm actually 32." She sighed, sitting back, her mug of coffee in her hand. She could feel Amelia looking at her. She was tempted to close her eyes, just to complete the picture, but decided against it. She'd probably get fired, for being a smart ass. Erik looked up as the headmistress walked in and nodded but said with a smirk, "By only two years, that's not that much." He laughed as Ceallach magically organized her papers. "That's one way to do it." He leaned back in his chair and started reading through the basic potions notes. "Now, how many students do you think will try and blow up the class this term by not paying attention?" he asked with a laugh. When Erik said he was only 2 years younger than Amelia, Ceal raised an eyebrow. She all of a sudden felt rather young. That meant he was 5 years older than her. They were all older than the teachers when she was at Hogwarts. But, she supposed, so was she! She chuckled when Erik spoke and nodded. "That's the secret of a very successful businessman. Ssh. Don't tell," she said, putting a finger to her lips. She shrugged as Erik spoke about the students. "Most of them probably. Do they ever pay attention?"

Erik saw Ceallach's raised eyebrow and shrugged, "Doesn't mean I'm not young at heart." He winked and made a note on the parchment as he noticed an error. He laughed and crossed his check, "Your secret is safe with me." He made a few more notes on the parchment and shrugged, "Some of them...well only a couple of them actually pay attention. Most of them are too concerned about girls, quidditch, or pretty much anything other than Potions."

Ceallach laughed, catching his wink. She smiled, and shrugged as he said her secret was safe. "Well, I teach Arithmancy. You know how hard it is to get the kids to focus on math!" she chuckled. She'd come to notice that, just because she loved the subject so much, doesn't mean everyone else did!

Erik laughed, "Oh, I can imagine. I only liked it because I was good at it but I found it extremely boring myself when I was in school. Then again if I had you teaching it I might have found it more interesting." He smirked and picked up his papers, "Well I have to head off to class it doesn't look good if the professor is late, I look forward to seeing you again Ceallach. Feel free to stop by my office if you need anything." He smiled and headed toward the door with a quick nod to the Headmistress.

Ceallach chuckled, giving Erik a smile, to respond to his smirk. She looked up at him as he stood up and nodded. "No, probably wouldn't be,' she agreed. Nodding, she smiled again. "Okay. I shall," she replied to him asking her to drop by his office. She fixed him with another smile as he walked from the lounge. She sighed, resting back into her chair. He was really quite attractive, and he was adorable. She sighed again, then looked at the Headmistress. "Umm. I'm might head off too. Tanks for your - uh - advice," she said, inclining her head, as she stood up, piccking up her papers, and walking from the room.

DIFFERENT DAY
Ceallach strode into the staff room and straight over to the drinks table. She poured herself a glass of firewhiskey. She knew Amelia didn't really like them drinking during the day, but she didn't have any classes for the rest of the afternoon. Once she'd taken a sip, feeling the hot liquid scorch her throat on the way down, she sighed and walked over to the sofa, sitting, and then lounging on it. She was such an idiot. How could she let herself get so worked up like that! Sure, it was great and she didn't want it to stop, but still. She'd almost chucked a hissy fit! She hadn't done that in a long time! She sighed, taking another, rather larger, drink from her glass. Eugh. Stupid

Erik walked into the staff room dripping sweat from his long jog around the castle. The whole class period he had had difficulty focusing and had to dismiss class early. After he had rushed back to his office and found Ceal gone he had to releave his tension somehow and take his mind off of her so he had thrown on a worn t-shirt and sweats and went for a jog, hoping that it would distract him enough. He looked up and saw Ceallach lounging on the couch and he had to focus as another wave of lust washed through him. He lifted his shirt up to wipe the sweat off and headed over toward the cabinet to get some water though he could have used something stronger.

Ceallach heard someone else come into the staff room, and she glanced up, only to remove her eyes very quickly when she saw who it was. Eugh. He was dripping in sweat, she could even smell it, and yet he still looked good. More than good. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw him raise his shirt up to wipe sweat away, and she had to tear her eyes away from the part of his torso that was revealed as he did so. She groaned to herself. But, she decided on ignoring him. Instead of doing what she really wanted to.

He walked toward her and glanced at the sofa and deciding better of it sat down in a chair at the table. He ran his hand through his wet hair and looked at her, "Well?"

Ceallach glanced up as Erik came over to her and spoke. She watched he sat at one of the tables. "Hello," she said, shrugging her shoulders. "Eugh. I'm not mad," she groaned. She sat up, swinging her legs off the sofa so they were in front of her. She didn't know what to say. "I just - I'm not exactly used to not getting what I want," she said really quickly and quietly, dropping her head. She felt like a stupid child.

Erik watched her as she sat up and said she wasn't mad, as she crossed her legs... He pulled his eyes from her legs and focused them on his water bottle, "Well thats..." He turned and looked at her as she spoke and smirked, "Guess there's a first for everything." He continued to smirk as he took a sip from his water bottle and glanced at her.

She shook her head at his smirk. She scowled at him. She shrugged and swung her legs back up onto the sofa, but didn't lounge like before. She was still facing him, with her legs off to the side. "Why are you all sweaty?" she asked. "And why are you sitting all the way over there?" She actually didn't know why she asked that. He stunk. But - he was all sweaty. Eww Ceallach. That's gross!

His eyes drawn to her as she moved again he had to clear his throat to focus as his thoughts started to wander, "I want running and I didn't think you'd appreciate the sweatiness by you. That and I thought you might be mad at me." He met her eyes finally as he asked, "Why do you want me to sit over there?"

She listened to his reasons and she shrugged. "I like sweaty," she said before she could stop herself, then she chuckled. "Strike that. Wasn't supposed to say that outloud," she chuckled. Oops She grinned as he met her eyes and asked why she wanted him to sit with her. "Well, I was just thinking the sofa would be more comfortable than one of those hard chairs. But, you don't have to move if you don't want to,' she answered, shrugging her shoulders. "More room for me then," she smiled, and stretched out her legs, one straight, the other bent slightly as she lay back along the sofa.

He looked thoughtful for a moment and sat back in his chair as he watched her lay back along the sofa, "Well I'm already comfortable over here." His eyes trailed across her as she streached her legs out and he smirked, "You're rather enjoying this aren't you?"
