Erik laughed, "That's why I'm doing it. He also seems to have an affinity for trouble. Or maybe it's that he is searching for it, I'm not sure. But if his dad finds out what he's up to there will be trouble that's for sure. Personally I think I'm going to stay out of that one." He looked thoughtful for a moment and sat up, "What are you doing when the kids go off to Hogsmeade this weekend?"

He looked thoughtful for a moment and sat up, "What are you doing when the kids go off to Hogsmeade this weekend?" "Mr Malfoy, in trouble? Looking for it? Seriously? What sort of trouble?" Ceallach asked. Scorpius was always very well behaved in her classes. "Yeah, that's the best bet. Stay out of Malfoy affairs. Been there, done that," she said, shrugging her shoulders. She didn't like Lucius Malfoy, despite having had a massive crush on him at one stage. She shrugged, looking at him, "Umm. I was going to go down to the village as well. Maybe go to the Hogs Head for a drink. Did you want to go? Er - Join me?" she said, rather awkwardly. She srugged her shoulders, and scoffed at herself Ceal. You're an idiot.

Erik shifted in his seat and pulled a note out of his pocket that he had confiscated from the Rose and Scorpius. "Read for yourself. A Weasley and a Malfoy, definitely looking for trouble." He listened to Ceallach's policy on staying out of things and nodded, "Definitely the best bet." He smiled at her response to Hogsmeade which broadened as she asked him if he wanted to come, "Why thank you Ms. O'Raghallaigh, I'd be delighted to join you." Erik raised an eyebrow as she shrugged and scoffed then heard the thought, "May I ask why you're an idiot? Personally I think you're one of the more intelligent people here. And THE only one I can stand to talk to for any length of time. The others are all so...simplistic." His lips twitched at the comparison his brain made to his beginnings potions class.

Ceallach raised her eyebrow as she read the note. "A Weasley and a Malfoy. Oh well. Maybe they genuinely like each other. But, I suppose, that won't really count to anything," she said, shrugging her shoulders. Her smile brightened a little as he accepted her invitation. "Good," she said. As he questioned her thought, her eyes widened. "You - dammit. That's not fair. Now I know there's someone else like me, I suppose I'm going to have to keep my mind closed from now on," she said, chuckling softly. "I feel like an idiot. No point in lying to you. It's been a long time since I've asked someone to have a drink with me," she admitted.

Erik shrugged, "I don't know if they do or don't but I doubt their fathers will see it that way." He grinned as she realized he could read her mind and started laughing, "I don't see why." He looked up at her with his eyebrow raised, "Unless of course you have stuff to hide. Personally I'm an open book." He winked and put his fee up on her desk casually. Taking in her words he smiled, "Well, I can see that. You're quite attractive, I'm sure you have guys asking YOU out to drinks all the time. Personally, I don't like to impose myself. So if you ever feel fed up with me just chuck me out."

Ceallach chuckled. "I close parts of it. You're welcome to the rest," she said, shaking her head. When he put his feet up on her desk, she scowled, then laughed. Sitting crosslegged on her chair, she felt her cheeks colour slightly, as he called her attractive. She should be used to it by now. 30-something, and can't even take a compliment. She used to be sooooo good at taking compliments. They used to be her life! "I'll keep that in mind," she said, giving him one of her playful smirks. The old Ceallach was back in the saddle. Not the Ceallach tied down by her cheating boyfriend.

He watched as she blushed and smirked, "I trust that you will." He looked around her office and spotted the clock, "Well...there goes most of the afternoon." He stood up and smiled at Ceal, "I have to go finish grading papers, I'm afraid, well not really but like I said I don't want to impose and I'm sure you have things you need to do."

Ceallach had to actively hide her disappointment as he said he had to go. "Oh. Ok." she said, watching him stand up. "I - uh - You're welcome to stay if you want. I don't have too much to do. It can be done later," she said, shrugging her shoulders. She was trying not too seem too desperate, she had a feeling she wasn't succeeding.

Erik watched her hesitate in his words and smirked as he sensed her desperation to have him stay. He walked over to her chair and took her hand as he whispered, "Rule number 1 of...well not many. Always leave them wanting more." He leaned over and kissed her hand, smirking as he stood up, "I'll see you later, Ceal." He straightened his shirt collar and headed out of her office leaving the thermos behind still sitting on her desk.

Ceallach shook her head as he leant over, and kissed her hand, after hearing him whisper. "See you later, Erik," she replied, watching him walk out the door. She looked back at the desk and saw the thermos. "Erik -" she started, and was about to run out to give him the thermos, when she stopped. She laughed. Its like the old, 'leaving behind the hankerchief' thing. She thought about taking it back straight away. Would that seem really desperate? She sighed, and just left the thermos where it was. She'd take it back tomorrow.

Rose trotted up to Professor o Raghallaigh's office, and knocked on the door, waiting patiently for the woman to answer. Her parents had been told to come up here, seeing as Professor o Raghallaigh was her Head of House. She sighed, hoping this wasn't going to be too hard.

Ceallach looked up from her book, and sighed, standing up to walk to the door. She opened it, and gave Rose a smile. "Come in Rose. Take a seat," she said, indicating to one of the chairs in front of the desk. extra chairs had been summoned, for all the extra people that were supposed to be in here. "You ready for this?" she asked the girl. She wondered if Rose knew both sets of parents were going to be here.

Hermione and Ron walked up to Ceallach's office, still acutely curious as to why they were here. Ron knocked on the door, and they waited. They could hear the talking stop at the knock, and footsteps to the door.

Ceallach stopped talking and turned as there was another knock on the door. She gave rose another smile, then walked over to the door. "Ah. Mr and Mrs Weasley, come in. Please, take a seat. We just - uh - need to wait for a bit, until we start. So make yourselves comfortable," she said, motioning to the chairs.

She nodded, and walked into the office, sitting down in one of the chairs she was motioned to. Then she nodded again. "Better now than never," she said, shrugging her shoulders. Hermione and Ron walked up to Ceallach's office, still acutely curious as to why they were here. Ron knocked on the door, and they waited. They could hear the talking stop at the knock, and footsteps to the door. Rose froze as there was another knoock on the door. When Professor o Raghallaigh opened it, to reveal her parents, she gave them both a smile, trying to tell them she wasn't in too much trouble. Well, trouble was a matter of perspective.
